PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction clutch for a vehicle capable of suppressing excessive adjustment, or a failure, of an adjusting device compensating an abrasion loss of a friction plate. SOLUTION: This friction clutch for the vehicle is provided with a clutch disk 4 having the friction plate 3, a cover 7 fixed to a flywheel 2, a pressure plate 6 disposed axially movably between the cover 7 and the friction plate 3, a pushing member 5 applying a pushing pressure to the pressure plate 6, the adjusting device 10 disposed between the pushing member 5 and the pressure plate 6 and compensating the abrasion loss of the friction plate 3, and a regulation device 16 regulating the axial moving distance of the pressure plate 6. The adjusting device 10 is provided with a pair of adjusting members 12 and 13 and an energizing member 14. At least, one of the pair of the adjusting members 12 and 13 is so set as to be radially pressurized against an inner wall 17 provided in the pressure plate 6 in rotating the cover 7.
