PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent coexistence of recording on the front surface and recording on the back surface of recording paper and to prevent time taken until a user confirms the first double-sided recording paper from getting long. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus 1 has an image forming means for forming original image data on the recording paper fed by a paper feeding means, and realizes the double-sided recoding that the recoding paper on either surface of which an image is formed by the image forming means is fed by the paper feeding means again through a reversal path, whereby the image is formed on the other surface. The apparatus has a control means 60 allowing the recording paper to stay by every several sheets in the image forming apparatus in the midst of double-sided recording and changing the number of sheets of the recording paper staying in the image forming apparatus while reading an original. |
