PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage can in which alignment in position of a drinking port with a dent is easy so as to improve production efficiency, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a beverage can comprises a first process of machining to punch a flat metallic plate thereby forming a developed plate 12 whose outer periphery becomes a barrel 2 to surround a top plate 3, a second process of deep-drawing the developed plate 12 thereby integrally forming the top plate 3 and the cylindrical barrel 2 with its upper end surface closed by the top plate 3, a third process of providing a drinking port 7 on the top plate 3, correspondingly locating the drinking port 7 on the barrel 2 and in addition providing a dent 10 where a position of the drinking port 7 can be recognized by a finger touch, a fourth process of providing a finger catch 9 for opening the drinking port 7 at a predetermined position on an external surface of the top plate 3, and a fifth process of filling a beverage I in the barrel 2 and also seaming, thereby closing an opened lower end surface of the barrel 2 with a bottom plate 4.
