PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnet-type cylinder lock which is available in a construction key system. SOLUTION: The cylinder lock 1 is comprised of an outer cylinder 3, an inner cylinder 7, a magnetic tumbler 23, and a switching magnetic body 31. The outer cylinder 3 is fixed to a lock box, and has a magnetic tumbler housing hole 15 and an outer cylinder-side recess 17 on the same inner circle. The inner cylinder 7 has a key insertion hole 5 formed therein, and is rotatably fitted into the outer cylinder 3 such that its outer peripheral surface makes contact with an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 3. Then, the inner cylinder 7 has an inner cylinder-side recess 19 which is formed in an outer peripheral surface thereof and selectively matches the magnetic tumbler housing hole 15 or the outer cylinder-side recess 17. The magnetic tumbler 23 is placed in the magnetic tumbler housing hole 15, and makes sliding contact with the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 7 by an energizing means 21. The switching magnetic body 31 blocks entering of the magnetic tumbler 23 into the inner cylinder-side recess 19 by staying in the same, while it moves to the outer cylinder-side recess 17 due to a magnetic repellent force when a key 11 having a magnet is inserted into the key insertion hole 5.
