PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin composition which is excellent in mechanical strengths (particularly, rigidity, low-temperature impact resistance, and heat resistance), is industrially useful as a fabricated material for injection molding or extrusion, and can be used for automobile parts reduced in thickness and weight so that it can contribute to the saving of energy and resources. SOLUTION: This polypropylene resin composition contains (a) 10-99 wt.% of a propylene block copolymer obtained by using a metallocene catalyst through the former step of producing a propylene polymer component (PP) and the latter step of producing a propylene/ethylene copolymer component (EP) and having specified physical properties, and (b) 1-90 wt.% of an inorganic filler. In addition, (c) an elastomer and (d) a polypropylene resin produced by using a Ziegler-Natta catalyst can be blended with the composition.
