PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activated carbon filter which removes chlorine or the like, in city water, at the same time, supplies minerals into the city water and also has a function of sterilizing bacteria in the city water, and a water purifying cartridge and a water purifier which have the activated carbon filter. SOLUTION: The activated carbon filter 1 is made by cylindrically forming activated carbon 2 and mineral slowly-releasing particles 3 with a binder. The activated carbon filter 1 slowly releases minerals and, therefore, has a function of adding the minerals to drinking water. When the mineral slowly-releasing particles slowly release calcium and/or magnesium as the minerals, the propagation of bacteria in water is suppressed. When fossil coral, limestone and wollastonite are used as the mineral slowly-releasing particles, the calcium component is slowly released at an appropriate elution rate.
