PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new mattress for a bed, which has a good touch and high air permeability capable of eliminating a state in which the mattress is filled with heat, by dispersing a user's body pressure. SOLUTION: This mattress 10 for the bed, which is composed of at least three layers, has an intermediate layer 20, which is composed of a layer in which a plurality of block objects 25 and 25 are arranged in such a manner that spaces S for ventilation, communicating with an outer surface of a side part of the mattress 10, remain among at least some of the block objects 25 and 25. When the layers 11 and 15 on both sides of the intermediate layer 20 have the air permeability at least in the direction of thickness T, the mattress 10 has the air permeability in three-dimensional directions, that is, in vertical and horizontal directions, so as to be capable of more surely eliminating the state in which the mattress 10 is filled with heat.
