PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the supply amount of a molding material to a screw without flicking out the material to be supplied into a heating cylinder out of the slot of the screw by mounting a sleeve having a shape for smoothly supplying the material into the slot of the screw, to reduce the manufacturing cost of the cylinder, to arrange a heater in the cylinder of the part to which the material is supplied and to rapidly heat the material. SOLUTION: The molding material plasticizing apparatus comprises a heating cylinder having the screw formed with a spiral flight and a spiral slot on the periphery, and a molding material supply port formed in the vicinity of a rear end so that the screw is rotatably and retractably arranged therein, and a sleeve having an opening corresponding to the supply port and a slot including an oblique surface communicating with an opening and approaching to the inner peripheral surface toward a distal end and inserted into the interior from the rear end of the cylinder. |
