PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for raising seedling of ditch reed, by which transplantable seedlings of ditch reed can be obtained in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The system for raising seedling of ditch reed 1 comprises a nursery bed 2, a water supply 3 supplying water to the nursery bed 2, and a water storage pond 4 for rootage and germination. The nursery bed 2 is so structured as to lay a nursery bed material 16 on the bottom part thereof, and is filled with water 17 so that the water level is higher than the top end of the nursery bed material. The water supply 3 comprises an open-type water tank 6 storing water drawn from the river (not shown) as a water source, and a water supply pipe 5 through which the inside of the open-type water tank communicates with the inside of the nursery bed 2. The water supplied from the water supply 3 flows in the nursery bed 2 and the water storage pond 4 for germination and rootage. |
