PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for more easily and efficiently improving the heat resistance of an enzyme and expressing high enzymatic activity thereof at high temperatures. SOLUTION: This method for raising enzymatic activity at high temperatures comprises incorporating a reaction liquid containing the enzyme with a substance having chaperonic action, e.g. an amino acid such as betaine or sarcosine, a polyhydric alcohol such as glycerol or ethylene glycol, a chaperone-like protein.
