PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-quality-purification apparatus for favorably removing nitrogen and phosphorus contained in the water in a purification tank, and capable of dealing with water-level change in the tank. SOLUTION: A step 12 is provided on a wall surface 10 of the purification tank 1 at a predetermined height (e.g. 1 m) from a bottom surface 11. A floating water-plants mass 2 of a 3-D network is floated on the surface of water A in the tank 1. The water-plants mass 2 is formed of a 3-D network 20, a float frame 21 enclosing the network 20 from all four sides, and a height-adjusting member 22 inserted in the network 20. The water-plants mass 2 floats up and down in accordance with the amount of the water A in the tank 1. When the water level comes lower than the height of the step 12, the frame 21 of the water-plants mass 2 is caught on the step 12, and the water-plants mass 2 does not come lower than the position of the step 12. Thus, nitrogen and phosphorus in the water of the tank 1 are absorbed by roots 30 of the plants 3. |
