摘要 PURPOSE: An air charging efficiency compensation method is provided to achieve improved overall operation of the automobile. CONSTITUTION: An air charging efficiency compensation method comprises a step of calculating soak time and intake system temperature difference, and judging whether the calculated value is higher than a predetermined level; a step of reading an atmospheric pressure and TPS if the calculated value is higher; a step of setting an air charging efficiency at a normal hot film type air flow sensor(HFM) in accordance with the atmospheric pressure and TPS; a step of calculating air charging efficiency by using an air quantity table after reading the HFM signal; a step of calculating air charging efficiency by using the air quantity table after reading HFM; a step of judging whether 30 seconds have lapsed; a step of calculating TPS variation for a predetermined time period, if 30 seconds have lapsed; a step of judging whether the vehicle is in an accelerating state; a step of calculating variation of charging efficiency for a predetermined time period, if the vehicle is in an accelerating state; a step of judging whether the absolute value of the variation of charging efficiency exceeds a threshold value; a step of correcting the charging efficiency to the maximum value if the absolute value exceeds the threshold value; a step of calculating the difference between the charging efficiency and preset charging efficiency; a step of judging whether the absolute value of the difference calculated in the previous step exceeds a threshold value; and a step of correcting the charging efficiency to the preset charging efficiency if the absolute value exceeds the threshold value.
