PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocopying device that can reproduce a target color even when an image forming medium of an image of an original plate differs and uniformize the image quality and the color tone of the original plate image information. SOLUTION: The photocopying device is provided with: a photographing means 2 that photocopies an image of the original plate to output original plate image information DIN; a detection section 1 that detects a type of an image forming medium of the image of the original plate; a storage means 5 that stores a plurality of color conversion tables to correct colors of the image of the original plate; and a controller 4 that selects any of a plurality of the color conversion tables in the storage means 5 on the basis of the type of the image forming medium of the image of the original plate detected by the detection section 1 and corrects the colors of the original plate image information DIN from the photographing means 2. The color conversion table can be selected depending on the type of the image forming medium of the image of the original plate and the colors of the original plate image information DIN can be corrected on the basis of the color conversion table corresponding to the type of the image forming medium of the image of the original plate.
