PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrator which has stable characteristics and an excellent total yield by holding a piezoelectric element plate horizontally by an easy method and eliminating variation in characteristic such as variation in main vibration frequency caused by bringing the piezoelectric element plate into contact with an insulating substrate at the bottom part of a piezoelectric vibrator container and its lid as to a piezoelectric vibrator which has its piezoelectric element plate supported in a cantilever state and airtightly sealed in the piezoelectric vibrator container. SOLUTION: On a conductive pad constituted on the insulating substrate on the side of conductive adhesive application to the piezoelectric element plate, narrow-width rectangular projections in the same shape are formed at two places as projection parts where the piezoelectric element plate is mounted to hold the piezoelectric vibration plate horizontally on the insulating substrate at the bottom part in the piezoelectric vibrator container.
