Plates of stucco parget or gypsum are reinforced with binary additions of fibers of polypropylene and dispersions of melamine-formaldehyde. The material obtained is very resistant for formation of prefabricated large format plates for use in building. This resolves to a great extent the limitations of gypsum or stucco parget, such as their minimum mechanical resistance, their rapid setting time and formation of fissures in joints. The material is constituted by any type of gypsum or stucco parget as principal matrix with binary additions of polypropylene and dispersions of melamine-formaldehyde.
