PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency by shortening the replacement time for reading out space data to be edited on an operation terminal even when one operator concurrently performs editing for a plurality of spaces in the same time zone. SOLUTION: In this newspaper space producing system, a plurality of elements formed by at least articles, images and photos to be carried on each space of newspaper are arranged on each space to edit the space data, and the space data in which editing is completed is brought down for printing to produce a newspaper space. The system is provided with a space data holding part 50 for holding a plurality of in-process space data 53 in the course of editing, a space data select part 51 for selecting the in-process space data to be edited from each in-process space data 53 held in the space data holding part 50, and a space data editing part 52 for editing the in-process space data 53 selected by the space data select part 51.
