<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with excellent usability and convenience which is excellent in usability as an electronic book, etc., and usable even with a display element having slow display speed, and which is not interrupted when changing the page. SOLUTION: The display device which reads display data by a page unit and displays it on a display element is constituted of a turn-over detecting section to detect turning over of the device main body formed in a plate shape and the rotating direction for turning over, a first and a second display element arranged on the front and rear face of the device main body for displaying each one page of the read display data, a page changing means to display a new page by changing the display of the first or the second display element when the turn-over detecting section detects the turning over of the device main body, a changed display element selecting means to select the display element changed by the page changing means, and a changed page setting means to set the changed page as the next page or the preceding page.</p> |
