PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distributing service through a communication network, capable of improving the willingness of a content provider and acquiring users from a wide range. SOLUTION: In this content distributing service system wherein a content holder terminal, a content collecting and distributing server and a user terminal (performance terminal) are connected through the communication network, the collecting and distributing server is provided with a means for receiving the content from the content holder terminal and collecting the content registration fee in accordance with the reception of the content, a means for generating the content distribution data and transmitting the same to the user terminal, and a means for receiving the content selecting operation record from the user terminal and returning the registration fee to the content holder on the basis of the content selecting operation record.
