PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical digital versatile disk player that improves its operability by making sound, a caption and a language of a menu image settable at the same time and whose main body can be configured at a low cost. SOLUTION: If a setup key is operated, a setup image with which the sound, the caption and the language of the menu image can be subjected to setting changing at the same time is displayed on a display device 21. If up and down keys are operated in this case to select a desired language and to operate a decision key, the setting change of the sound, the caption and the language of the menu image can be performed at the same time. Then, user's operability is improved and these languages can be easily performed.
