TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING DELAY AMOUNT OF SIGNAL PROPAGATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission system which automatically and efficiently detects the delay amount of signal propagation between terminals by remote control. SOLUTION: The system has a signal loopback means 5, a test signal generation means 6, a switch means 7 and a propagation delay amount detection means 8. The system is further provided with a propagation delay amount measurement means 3 for detecting the delay amount of signal propagation between the terminals X1 and X2 by remote control of a network monitoring controller W.
