PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic accompaniment device for an electronic musical instrument, which generates an accompaniment sound matching the intention of a player. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with keyboards 150 and 151, a chord detection part 10 which detects chords when keys of the keyboards are pressed and released, a storage part 13 which stores accompaniment data including sounding timing, and a control part 10 which generates an accompaniment sound by expanding the automatic accompaniment data according to the chords detected by the chord detection part in the sounding timing of the automatic accompaniment data stored in the storage part, mutes the currently generated accompaniment sound once a key is pressed in timing other than the sounding timing, and generates the accompaniment sound according to the chords detected by the chord detection part. |
