PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resistance-variable device which contains a terminating resistance in a chip and holds the impedance matching, to the same extent as that, when using the terminating resistance outside of the chip. SOLUTION: A pull-up resistance part 22 forming a terminating resistance in a chip to generate a node voltage V1 between transistors 26, 28 according to the control of a switch circuit 23. A decoder 35 generates a code, according to the error quantity between the node voltage V1 and an expectation for correcting, so that the resulting resistance of the pull-up resistance part 22 becomes the expectation value. A selector circuit 37 controls the switch circuit 23 according to the code.
