<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket fixing structure that can improve the efficiency of the fixing work of a socket for electronic equipment to a substrate and can save the labor required by the work. SOLUTION: This socket fixing structure comprises pins 10 which are extended from the socket 1 for electronic equipment and have pressure receiving surfaces 14, hole sections 3 made in the substrate 2 for passing the pins 10, and inserting holes 23 for inserting the pins 10. This structure also comprises slits 24 connected to the inserting holes 23 and sliders 20 having pressing surfaces 25 which are formed along the slits 24 and can be brought into contact with the pressure receiving surfaces 14 of the pins 10. Of the pressure receiving surfaces 14 of the pins 10 and the pressing surfaces 25 of the sliders 20, the pressing surfaces 25 are inclined. This fixing structure fixes the socket 1 to the substrate 2 when the pins 10 passed through the hole sections 3 of the substrate 2 are inserted into the inserting holes 23 and, at the same time, the sliders 20 are moved along the slits 24.</p> |
