PURPOSE: A vibration reducing apparatus for a washing machine is provided to reduce vibration quickly and efficiently by distributing vibration to other suspensions in concentrating vibration on a suspension during dehydration with modifying the structure. CONSTITUTION: Suspensions(7) are installed between corners of an outer case and an outer tub(2) to support the outer tub. Suspension bars(70) are connected to each other by an elastic member(30), and the elastic member is made of a rubber band or tension spring. When the suspension is compressed by concentrating load on a suspension from unbalance, the uneven load is distributed to other suspensions by constraining motion of the suspension owing to connecting suspensions by the elastic member. Vibration is reduced quickly and efficiently by distributing load evenly in dehydrating. |
