PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a customer without knowledge to obtain a clear printed result when requesting a printout of an image of a digital camera. SOLUTION: A user inserts an image medium 2 storing image data photographed with the digital camera into a slot 13. A receiving terminal 10 acquires the image data from the image medium 20, and acquires the number of pixels of the acquired image from Exif information embedded in the image data. The receiving terminal 10 displays a recommended print size corresponding to the number of pixels on a display part 11. The user decides whether to approve the displayed recommended print size. If the user does not approve the print size, print sizes of the second and succeeding candidates are displayed by operating a touch panel, and the user designates a print size. The receiving terminal 10 transmits to a silver salt printer 30 the image data and the print size requested by the user, and the silver salt printer 30 prints out the image in the requested print size. |
