PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generating device as improvement of the conventional technique involving such a problem that carbon monoxide of comparatively high concentration is generated for a short period of time when its hydrogen producer operates unsteadily, for example at the time of starting or with varying load, which causes the power generating device to stop operating to result in out of function. SOLUTION: A carbon monoxide adsorber 7 is installed between the hydrogen producer 3 and fuel cell 4 so as to adsorb away the carbon monoxide contained in the fuel gas. This allows the power generating device to operate stably even if carbon monoxide of a high concentration is generated temporarily.
