PURPOSE: A Giro processing system is provided to offer Giro request data in a bar code type to a payer, to receive the bar code type Giro at an automatic collector, and to process the payment of the Giro. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a Giro processor(10), plural billing modules(20), a financial institute(30), and plural automatic Giro slip collectors(40). The billing modules(20) transmit Giro slips, on which bar codes are printed, to payers. The automatic Giro slip collector(40) includes a bar code recognizer for recognizing the bar code printed on the Giro slip, and enabling a payer to put the Giro slip into. The financial institute(30) stores the Giro payment data, and enables a payer to check a payment result via the automatic Giro slip collector(40). The financial institute(30) installs a central server for collectively managing the Giro payment data, and the central server can be connected to central servers of other financial institutes. The Giro processor(10) stores the Giro data offered by the billing modules(20) and the financial institute(30), and offers the Giro data to the billing module(20) if it is requested. The Giro processor can be operated by a private business company. |
