PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission characteristic compensation system and an optical communication system, in which the estimation of control direction which is to be moved initially is enabled, generation of transmission deterioration can be reduced, and further generation of transmission deterioration can be previously restrained by estimating a set value and previously performing compensation. SOLUTION: The compensation control system is provided with variable type compensators, provided with control circuits and an optimum set value operating part for calculating the optimum set values of the control circuits, the operating part estimates transmission deterioration in the future by each prescribed time, and sets the optimum set values for compensating the estimated transmission deterioration by using a plurality of the variable type compensators, in the control circuits. |
