PORTABLE TERMINAL AND PORTABLE TERMINAL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional system comprising external equipment and a portable terminal connected to the external equipment to input a code represented by optical information to the external equipment that a user has to operate both the portable terminal and the external equipment. SOLUTION: The optical information containing the operating procedure of the external equipment as information is provided and detected by the portable terminal, whereby necessary key operation and input of data can be automatically performed. The type of the external equipment is automatically recognized in the portable terminal side to change the operation information to be transmitted so as to cope with one type of portable terminals.
