PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-noise converter employing an LPF (low-pass filter) which is wide-band and steep, and is capable of obtaining high attenuation characteristics of a blocked band, without having to use inductance components causing a cost raise as much as possible. SOLUTION: In the low-noise converter for converting a right-handed (horizontal) circularly polarized signal and a left-handed (vertical) circularly polarized signal into intermediate frequency signals, either a filter for eliminating an interference wave from the intermediate frequency signal of the right-handed (horizontal) circularly polarized side or a filter for eliminating an interference wave from the intermediate frequency signal of the left-handed (horizontal) circularly polarized side is constituted by a plurality of stages of parallel resonance trap circuits, in which capacitors C1-C3 and inductors L1-L3 which are wide band and steep, and have high attenuation characteristics of a blocked band.
