The provcedure consists of cleaning the surface of the bronze or simulated bronze article with a chemical agent or fine sand to remove all varnish, grease etc, applying a primer by spraying or dipping, drying and spray painting in one or more colours. Once dry the surface is given at least one coat of a protective varnish and dried in ambient air or a drying tunnel.
