<p>The invention relates to a method for the production of filter segments (24) for multisegment filters (15) or filters (16) of the tobacco processing industry. According to said method, an extrudate (11,12) is initially produced by means of an extrusion molding method from components of the filter segments (24) or filters (16). The invention also relates to a corresponding filter segment (24) for multisegment filters (16) or a filter (16) of the tobacco processing industry. The inventive method is characterized in that in a further step thereof the extrudate (11, 12) is enveloped by a compressible and/or elastic first material (18). The inventive filter segment or inventive filter is characterized in that a filter core (22) is enveloped by at least one first enveloping material (18) which is compressible and/or elastic.</p> |
