<p>The invention relates to a method of producing a cryptography parameter. For this purpose, a first number is determined which is to be used in a cryptography process. A predetermined test is applied cyclically to an integer (N) and, each time, said test uses the remainder (NR) and the whole part of the quotient (q) of the division of a chosen number (S) by an actual integer. With each negative test, the next integer (N) is selected and a new remainder of the next division is calculated, without performing the division, directly from the remainder (NR) and the quotient (q), and the test is carried out again until said test is positive.</p> |
