System for simplifying order input whereby a first computer system is used to retrieve and display offers for a product in terms of quantities and prices. The system selects a number of offers based on the requirements of a user and generates an average price for the ordered quantity based on the offered prices for the various amounts. The user then places orders that are transmitted to a second computer system. The invention also relates to a corresponding method and computer software.
