Optical disk player for writing data in disk e.g. compact disk-re-writable, has velocity controller indicating change of data writing on basis of error signal from signal analyser

The player has an optical pick-up (19) that includes a laser diode to irradiate a laser beam on to an optical disk (10). A signal analyser (2) extracts an error signal from the reflected beam received by the optical pick-up and the error signal is sent to a velocity controller (24). The velocity controller controls the rotation of a spindle motor (22) on the basis of the error signal to accelerate the data writing.
