Method for inputting information uses a keyboard in which characters can be input by a single keystroke or as a keystroke combination. Keys are arranged in a matrix and simultaneous pressing of two keys, e.g. A and C which are adjacent to each other in a top row is used to input the letter B. Pressing of A and I, adjacent to each other in the first column is used to input the letter F. The invention also relates to a use of an inventive keyboard.
