PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material to which an antistatic property is imparted and which can be stably manufactured. SOLUTION: In the silver halide photographic sensitive material having one or more layers including a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a supporting body, one of the layers contains a compound expressed by the formula of R-(CF2 )m -CH2 CH2 -Y-L<1> -COOX. In the formula, R represents H or F, m represents an integer of 3 to 16, Y represents S, SO2 , SO or O, L<1> represents a bivalent group having three or more carbon atoms and X represents H or a cation.
