PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce 1,3,5-adamantanetriol mono (meth)acrylate. SOLUTION: This method for producing the 1,3,5-adamantanetriol mono (meth)acrylate, comprising subjecting 1,3,5-adamantanetriol and (meth)acrylic acid to a dehydration reaction, is characterized by supplying the (meth)acrylic acid in an amount of >=1.5 moles per mole of the 1,3,5-adamantanetriol. By this method, the 1,3,5-adamantanetriol mono (meth)acrylate containing 1,3,5- adamantanetriol di(meth)acrylate as an impurity in an amount of <=5 wt.% can be obtained.
