PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set elastic contact force of a driven roller suitable for the thickness of printing paper and maintain teeth at the designated position when the power to an electromagnetic drive motor is cut off. SOLUTION: Elastic contact force against a drive roller 1 of the driven roller 2 is adjusted by activating a drive motor M1 through rotation drive, rotating a crank gear 25 through train of gears 21, 22, 23, and 24, moving a pin 26a located at the top edge of an arm 26 upward or downward inside a long hole 27, contracting or straining a contracting spring 31, and lowering or increasing pushing pressure against a driven roller 2 of a lever 23. At the same time, a one-way clutch is incorporated in a tooth 24 and its support shaft 23 so that the train of gears 21a, 22, 23, and 24 will be retained at the fixed position even when the drive motor M1 is turned off and static torque is not generated in non-excitation state.
