PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment composition comprising resin-treated pigments, and readily and stably dispersible in a non-aqueous medium, and to provide pigment dispersion in which the pigment is stably dispersed in the medium for a long period. SOLUTION: This pigment composition comprises the pigment and a resin, wherein the pigment is treated with a polyvalent metal salt of a water-soluble resin insoluble in the non-aqueous medium and bearing anionic groups. The pigment dispersion is obtained by dispersing the composition in the medium.
