PISTON FOR COMPRESSOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston for a compressor satisfying both of lightening and reciprocating with stable attitude with a high order, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This piston 23 comprises a head part 41 slidably fitted to a cylinder bore, and a neck part 42 holding a shoe. A pressure receiving wall 43 of a side force F is extended toward the neck part 42 at a lower side of the head part 41. The pressure receiving wall 43 is unevenly mounted at a rotating direction R side of a swash plate 18. A first guide wall 44 is extended toward the head part 42 at a lower side of the head part 41. The first guide wall 44 is unevenly mounted at a side opposite to the rotating direction R of the swash plate 18 to be symmetrical to the pressure receiving wall 43. A thinned recessed part 45 is formed on an outer face slid on an inner face of the cylinder bore, of the first guide wall 44. Two continuous piston materials are molded by die casting, and a movable core mounted on a fixed die for molding the thinned recessed part 45 is displaced prior to the separation of a movable die in manufacturing the piston 23.
