PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument that enables the improvement for installing or adjusting a detecting part and the improvement of the electrical shield property of an electronic circuit constituting the detecting part. SOLUTION: The measuring instrument 1, in which the detecting part 14 connected to a part to be measured is installed in a case 2, transmits a signal detected by this detecting part 14 to the outside of the case 2 via a cable. The case 2 has a main body case part 6 and a cover case part 7 covering the inside of this main body case part 6. The main body case part 6 has a bottom plate part 6A and a back part 6B, in which two directions of a front and a top direction are opened. A joint 4 connected to the part to be measured is installed on the bottom plate part 6A and the detecting part 14 is installed at an end of the case of the joint, and an aluminum shield plate 15 covering the detecting part 14 is fixed to the back part 6B of the case 2.
