PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yellow toner which is excellent in triboelectrostatic chargeability, transparency transmissivity or the like and has excellent reproducibility in regard to grain size distribution and physical properties. SOLUTION: The yellow toner contains at least a pigment classified into C.I.Pigment Yellow 180 and a dye classified into C.I.solvent Yellow 162 as a colorant in a toner binding resin consisting essentially of styrene-acrylic resin or styrene-methacrylic resin. The yellow toner is characterized in that the circularity of the toner measured by a flow system particle image analyzer (FPIA) is between 0.950 and 0.970.
