PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device which forms high quality images by incorporating a web feeding device which can feed web, which is used as a recording medium for images, from an original web winding unit to another web winding body without touching the image recording side. SOLUTION: On a web feeding device 1 which feeds a web 2 from an original web winding unit 3 to a winding unit 4 through a designated feeding path, the original winding unit 3 can be rotated only in the sending direction of the web, the original web winding unit 3 and the winding unit 4 apply tension T2 with designated torque in the feeding direction of the web 2, a roller 5, which contacts one side 2b of the web 2, is mounted in the middle of the feeding path, and the roller 5 repeatedly moves forward in the direction D5f which contacts the web and backward in the reverse direction D5b.
