PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low pressure casting apparatus capable of surely cutting molten metal. SOLUTION: A gateblock 12 which is disposed in the middle of a runner 11 and can enter the runner 11 by being pushed with a spring 14 to interrupt the runner 11, and opens the runner 11 by being retreated by the pressure of poured molten metal and advances in the direction closing the runner 11 by the spring 14 according to the reduction of a poured molten metal quantity, is arranged. Further, a cylinder 15 which acts in completing to fill up the molten metal into a feedinghead to interrupt the runner 11 by pushing the gateblock 12, is arranged.
