PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the temperature sensitivity of a temperature sensor which uses a temperature detecting element such as a thermistor, and is especially used for temperature control of a thermal image fixing apparatus. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor is composed by arranging a cushioning material on a molded pedestal or molded pedestal having a leaf spring function, arranging a thermistor on it in addition, and covering the live part of the thermistor with a plurality of polyimide films to insulate or protect it with respect to a surface to be measured. The temperature sensor interposes metal foils among the polyimide films. This is a temperature sensor wherein heat collecting grease is applied around the thermistor and the metal foils in addition.
