PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a smooth operational characteristic and optimize intake/ exhaust efficiency from low speed region to a high speed region or at the time of acceleration/deceleration and thereby to improve fuel economy and output. SOLUTION: In this valve timing variable device, two camshafts 2a and 2b are disposed to a pair of valves 1a and 1b of at least one of an intake valve and an exhaust valve. Cams 3a and 3b and rocker arms 5a and 5a are respectively disposed to each of valves 1a and 1b. The camshafts 2a and 2b are provided with two cam phase angle variable means.
