The rear lamp has at least one printed circuit board with at least one terminal for an electrical lead and a socket for a light source. The printed circuit board has a contact cooperating with an edge connector (5,6) of a board (1) incorporating a number of LED light sources (2). The edge connector may employ a number of pin contacts fitted through respective openings in the surface of the board.
