PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic blackboard in which as a plasma display, a back-projecting type display and the like are not used, the manufacturing cost can be decreased and the productivity is excellent and as a commercially available general-purpose projector and the like can be set on the electronic blackboard and displaying can be performed by back-projection, there exists no possibility of generating the shadow of an explainer or the like standing at the front of the electronic blackboard on a screen of projection and visibility is excellent. SOLUTION: A stand part 2a, a displaying and mentioning face 2 formed by a back-projecting type screen stood and held by means of the stand part 2a and displaying letters, figures and the like by means of the back-projection, a projector installing part 7 installed with a back-projecting type projector 3 and arranged at an upper part or a lower part or a specified part of the displaying and mentioning face 2 and a back-projecting optical system 6 arranged on the back face side of the displaying and mentioning face 2 and reflecting an image light projected from the projector 3 and performing back- projection on the displaying and mentioning face 2 are provided.
