PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a range switching command from being accidentally given only by touching a display, in a device for commanding range switching by an operation of the range switching on the display. SOLUTION: A driver, first, presses and selects a range designation mark (P-range switch 10a) corresponding to the selected range (P-range in the figure) by the finger 11 to produce a current range checked signal. At this time, a designated position designation mark 12 is displayed. The designated position designation mark 12 is kept being displayed as long as the finger 11 is brought into contact with the display 9 and is moved following the movement of the designated position by moving the finger 11. At this time, when the designated position designation mark 12 is overlapped, even partially, on any of panel switches 10a to 10e, a panel switch corresponding thereto (R-range switch 10 in the figure) is determined, and the range switching to a command range corresponding to the determined switch is performed.
